The Homelessness Reduction Act webinar

Chris Brill, Homeless Link's Policy manager gives an overview of the key provisions of The Homelessness Reduction Act, which has recently received Royal Assent.

Webinar: The Homelessness Reduction Act

The Act places a new duty on local authorities to help prevent the homelessness of all families and single people, regardless of priority need, who are eligible for assistance and threatened with homelessness.

What will this mean for projects working with single homeless people? This webinar gives an overview of the key provisions in the Act, and provide a platform for members to discuss what these changes will mean specifically for single homeless people, and share practice where it already exists.

The measures of the Act are likely to be implemented in 2018. Homeless Link will be gathering the views of members on what we can do to support them with key changes arising from the Act.
