Referrals can be emailed at any time. Assessments will be offered Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm. Referral form can be requested via post or email. Applicants will ideally provide ID and proof of benefits (if available). References will be requested as part of the assessment process.
The most common way to refer is via the Inform website. If it is a self-referral, or the referring agency does not have access to inform, they can apply via the CHS website. Applications will be considered when a room becomes available. Suitable applicants will be invited for interview, and may bring the referrer/support worker or friend with them. Offers will be made by the multi-agency Allocations Panel.
Referrals to be made via the Homeless Team at Oldham Civic Centre. The minimum information referrals to a local authority must include: The applicant's name, Applicants contact details, The reason for the referral e.g. what has made them homeless.
Complete referral on Gateway through Housing Advice Centre or other professionals eg social workers. Require background information (previous housing history, substance use, mental health and offending issues) and proof of ID.
