Phone Mon-Fri 10am-5pm for application form, completed by applicant and agency before interview. Need 2 proofs of ID, eg passport, bank statement, birth certificate, NI card, letter from GP/agency, and background information and proof of income and/or benefits.
Phone daily 9am-8.30pm - may accept referrals later in emergency. Applicant/agency completes referral form prior to interview. Require proof of ID and background information about history of homelessness, offences, etc. If referring offenders or people with substance misuse issues a referring agency risk assessment may be required.
Direct referrals Phone on 0121 477 4644 ext 401 SIFA Number : 0121 766 1700 Youthline (0300 303 0099, 24 hours daily) which is responsible for assessing the support needs of young people aged 18-25 in Birmingham and for arranging appropriate levels of support.
Enquiries can be made at any time to the 24 hour helpline (0800 567 7699), however for referrals please call Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm, if you are unable to do so you can call out of these hours and a scheduled call back will be booked to make a referral.
