Newcastle Gateway referrals must present as homeless at the Housing Advice Centre and be referred electronically. Interview.

Complete referral on Gateway through Housing Advice Centre or other professionals eg social workers. Require background information (previous housing history, substance use, mental health and offending issues) and proof of ID.
Applicants need to go to the Housing Advice Gateway for initial interview. Applicant put on Gateway system to be interviewed. External agencies can also make referrals via the Gateway system.
