Phone to check vacancy details. If there is a vacancy, the referring agency is required to fill out a Guest Referral form on behalf of their client. If able to accept guest they will be given directions to the shelter for that evening. Guests should not turn up at the venue without their agency completing a referral first. All spaces must be booked in advance. we do not accept direct referrals; we only take guests from agencies who we hold a signed service level agreement with.
The most common way to refer is via the Inform website. If it is a self-referral, or the referring agency does not have access to Inform, they can apply via the CHS website. Applications will be considered when a room becomes available. Suitable applicants will be invited for interview, and may bring the referrer/support worker or friend with them Offers will be made by the multi-agency Allocations Panel.
