Applications will be considered when a room becomes available. Suitable applicants will be invited for interview, and may bring the referrer/support worker or friend with them. Offers will be made by the multi-agency Allocations Panel.

    Help with referrals is available Mon – Fri, 9am – 4.30pm (office closes at 5pm). Interviews are held between the above times. Successful applicants are asked to maintain contact to ensure we have up to date information e.g. phone number. Viewing will be arranged with ihAg worker when suitable vacancy occurs.

    Applicants are either found rough sleeping via Outreach Services or can contact Bedford housing options to arrange an assessment of their housing needs 01234 718058 or speak to the Nighshelter 01234 266085 who can signpost to our Outreach worker. Clients can come to the door if they need food, blankets and referrals can be made for them.

    Online application form to be completed by referrer with applicant present. Applicants welcome to visit for a look around the service and an informal chat with staff and residents prior to application. Interview and risk and needs assessments are completed on receipt of completed appropriate application form. Referrals from prison are accepted but bed spaces cannot be guaranteed to be available upon release.
