Enquiries can be made at any time to the 24 hour helpline (0800 567 7699), however for referrals please call Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm, if you are unable to do so you can call out of these hours and a scheduled call back will be booked to make a referral. Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Interview considers applicant's commitment and ability to participate in the programme. If no vacancies, placed on waiting list. Will help with claiming benefits, and getting ID and funding.
Applicants are either found rough sleeping via Outreach Services or can contact Bedford housing options to arrange an assessment of their housing needs 01234 718058 or speak to the Nighshelter 01234 266085 who can signpost to our Outreach worker. Clients can come to the door if they need food, blankets and referrals can be made for them. In winter we are part of the Severe Weather provision, clients can come to the door but then have to be assessed by housing.
