Access to Kickstart accommodation is through the Southend Access Gateway referral panel (0845 6027895) - multi-agency panel reviews the needs and aspirations of all potential applicants and matches potential residents to supported housing The Access Gateway Referral Panel uses the following criteria to determine whether an applicant is eligible to be considered for housing: Local Connection (i.e. Lived 3 years in the past 5, or parents, siblings, adult children resident in Southend 5yrs.
Referrals are made in person at the Haven Support Centre: Monday - Friday 8.30am-3.30pm. They will assess and refer appropriate applicants to shelter if eligible and space available. Local connection to the Watford, Three Rivers or Hertsmere area.
