The service is accessed via multi agency referral or even self referral. The client undergoes an initial interview either by phone or on site to make an initial basic needs assessment and a risk assessment.
referrals come via Fenland District Council, P3, Clarkson House Hostel and The Ferry Project. These agencies would need to be contacted and they will each carry out their own processes to decide if to refer the client on to the Mill Close service. The service will carry out an interview with a prospective client and create with the client a needs assessment and a risk assessment. These are used to decide if to offer a place.
