Referrals are all assessed at Northern Devon Hub, then passed to the appropriate accommodation provider. The referral will be put on a waiting list.A time is arranged for the prospective service user to visit the accommodation and have an interview with two staff members where they will be assessed for suitability.
To make a referral you can telephone, drop in to our centre Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or email us. An application form must be completed by referral agency or the individual before interview. Risk assessment are always completed and we may require additional information to help us make our assessment. Referrals to supported houses via Initial Contact Team only.
Named agency referrals only. Contact outreach team at The Compass Centre, Jamaica Street or Single Point of Access team at 100 Temple Street. Out of hours emergency referrals can be made via the police.
