Confirmation of booking in-house training courses

We will send you written confirmation via email within 5 working days of receiving your booking.

Fees

Please note that the fee payable may vary between training courses. For details of the fee payable for your training session, check the price listed on the course page or get in touch with the Training Manager, James Cuming. We do not charge VAT on training courses.

Bookings and payments

You can book a training course by emailing the Training Manager, James Cuming or calling him on 020 7840 4450.

You will be invoiced for the training when the course has taken place, the invoice will be for the cost of the course and the Trainers expenses.

Cheques should be sent to: Finance Department, Homeless Link, Minories House, 2-5 Minories, London EC3N 1BJ. Please include the invoice number. 

We also accept BACS’ payments. You can find the details on your invoice.

Please note: full payment is required as soon as the invoice is issued.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received in writing.

If your organisation, for whatever reason, has to cancel or postpone a course, cancellation terms will be dependent on the notice given.

  • 20 working days' notice or more given, no fee is payable
  • between 19 and 10 working days’ notice given, 20% of the agreed fee is payable plus any trainer expenses already purchased
  • 9 working days or less notice given, including the day of the course, 100% of the agreed fee is payable plus any trainer expenses already purchased

Homeless Link reserves the right to cancel training sessions at any point. We will always do our best to reshedule a cancelled course for a time that suits the receiving ageny.

Data protection

Information submitted to us will be stored and processed electronically for the purposes of delivering membership services, supplying information and to enable statistical analysis. Data may be passed to other parts of the organisation, our partners or contractors operating on our behalf to enable this to take place.

Tailored courses

We are able to tailor courses to suit your needs, and would be happy to discuss any elements of the course you would like adapted. A full course tailoring service is available at an additional cost.

In-house training courses can accommodate up 16 delegates, excluding First Aid which can hold up to 12. Exceptions can sometimes be made if discussed before the course and are solely at the discretion of Homeless Link. This may incur an additional charge, particularly if an extra facilitator is needed.

Additonal expenses

Quoted fees do not include the travel, subsistence and overnight costs (where necessary) incurred by the trainer. You will be responsible for covering these costs in addition to the training course fee. Homeless Link can provide you with a cost estimate prior to booking so there are no surprises at the time of invoicing.

Your responsibilities

Venue: It is the receiving agency's responsibility to provide a suitable venue for the training. Homeless Link requires venue details and directions at least 15 working days prior to the course date.
AV requirement: It is the receiving agency's responsibility to provide any audiovisual equipment required for the training. Trainers usually require flipchart and pens, project and laptop.

Our responsibilities

Coordination and liaison: Homeless Link will source a suitable trainer for course(s), coordinate the setting of dates and ensure that the course meets receiving agency’s training objectives.
Training Materials: Homeless Link will provide all training packs for the receiving agency in advance.
