No Second Night Out - guidance for areas with low numbers

Addressing the issues faced by areas with low numbers of rough sleepers as they adopt the No Second Night Out standard.

Who should use this guidance?

Local authorities with low numbers of rough sleepers.

In brief

The Government has called on every local authority to adopt the No Second Night Out standard - how each one achieves this will be different.

Homeless Link produced a full guidance document to support the adoption of NSNO. Whilst it takes into account the varying nature of local authorities around the country, this additional guidance specifically addresses the needs of areas with low numbers of rough sleepers arriving and a lower level of provision. We are predominantly addressing the needs of rural or semi-rural districts.
