Manchester legal highs consultation

Help us gather information and raise awareness of the use of legal highs in Manchester's homelessness services.

We are undertaking research to understand more about the prevalence of uses of new psychoactive substances (legal highs) and their impact among people using homelessness services in Manchester. By filling out this short form every time an incident takes place in your service we can build a more accurate picture of the use of legal highs.

The information collected will help us tackle the use of legal highs and raise awareness about the issue and the effect it has on individuals and the community.

The proposal is to record all incidents involving legal highs that services are aware of, for the month of September, starting on the 1st. Attached are 2 simple forms which will help to gather the information

  1. Incident spreadsheet– very simple form to record legal high incidents
  2. Legal High data collection form – for organisations to collate the information from the above forms

We are working in partnership with Manchester's day centre forum to undertake research to understand more about the prevalence of use of new psychoactive substances (legal highs) and their impact on users in Manchester.
