Day 1 programme Day 2 programme Book your place
The voluntary homelessness sector operates in a highly challenging environment, with increased demand for services but not necessarily the increased capacity to deliver these. Having a highly effective workforce is crucial and as leaders we must cultivate an environment that allows our employees to flourish.
This two-day residential event will look at what it takes to be a leader within the sector, managing a team working to make change in peoples’ lives. Presentations, discussions and workshops will focus on how to recruit, develop and lead your workforce to ensure you have a productive, dedicated and healthy team to deliver the aims of your organisation and an organisational culture that reflects its values.
Session topics will include:
- Leading to create a positive organisational culture
- Ensuring the right values are embedded in your organisation
- Improved staff recruitment and retention
- Recognising and mitigating the signs of burnout in your team
- Managing your staff through development and change
