Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people aged 16-48 with support needs, including young people aged 16-24 with support needs around education, training and/or employment. 95% of residents must have a Sandwell connection.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists and sex offenders. People with convictions for firearms/weapons offences or possessing drugs with intent to supply.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Most agency referrals come from Sandwell Social Inclusion, Youth Offending Team, Single Referral Panel (Sandwell) and Neighbourhood Offices.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Application form completed by referring agency prior to interview. Require proof of ID, proof of income and references.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
14 support staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keyworker system (13 residents per keyworker) with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff provide help with basic skills, and access to training, employment and computer facilities as part of foyer project. The project has a fitness centre, sports hall and community cafe.

£7.80-£10pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking in own room only. Licence agreement.
Maximum of 2. Need photo ID. No under 16s except family member agreed in advance with staff.
Sandwell and Dudley train stations - 30 mins walk. Black Lane Metro station - 3 mins walk.
