Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single people aged 16-24 who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, with support needs. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
People who have committed sex offences against young people. People with serious ongoing alcohol or drug misuse.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals, and referrals from housing organisations and voluntary agencies.
Applicant must complete a hostel application form (HAF). HAF can be emailed or posted to applicant, or they can attend service at any time to pick up a HAF. Can phone or call in at anytime and any day. HAF must be completed with as much information as possible.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 month
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
1 Full time Housing Manager, 1 Full Time Senior Engagement Worker, 3 full time engagement workers, 1 Full Time Property Co-ordinator. 1 part time engagement worker 1 full time Pathways worker 1 full time resettlement worker The service is staffed 24/7 Engagement worker system with weekly support meetings. Support plans are done using the Homelessness Star, and agreed goals and actions for the tenant and their engagement worker. These are reviewed monthly and cover independent living skills,money management, meaningful use of time, health, offending and drug/alcohol support
Rooms and charges
£28.00 per week required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 2 rooms accessible for wheelchair users. Pull Chord system in place for the rooms that are adapted for wheelchair users.
- Other facilities: Lounge.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed on the premises. Licence agreement.
Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm No overnight guests. Sat-Sun 10am-10pm. No overnight guests.
Norwich Bus station is situated next door to YMCA Central
Volunteers are able to apply via an employed Volunteer Co-Ordinator.
Clothes, Shoes,food, gifts for tenants, money.
