Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-30 with low support needs who has lived independently. Support engagement is necessary. Local connection needed for move on. Accommodation offered varies from shared houses, AST flats and supported lodgings.
Who we cannot help
No high class drug users or high mental health needs.

- Maximum age accepted: 30
How to get a referral
Accept referrals from any agency with links to Norwich.
Referrals from any of the other YMCA Norfolk sites and local authorities. Also, from other local homelessness agents such as MAP etc.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: None
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
Tenancy support team available on site Mon - Fri from 9am – 8pm. Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. All other times there is an out-of-hours telephone service and staff at John Drake House.

- Total spaces: 50
- Furnishings: Rooms fully furnished.

- Disabled facilities: None.
- Other facilities: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. (The one 1 x bed flat has its own self contained kitchen/lounge and bathroom).
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No alcohol or smoking allowed on the premises. Licence agreement in houses, shorthold tenancy in flat.
Guests over 18 may stay overnight by arrangement ( 3 nights per week only).
Buses are 200 yards away. Train station is approx. 2 miles away.
