Who do we help?
Single homeless people aged 16-25. Must have a local connection.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. May not be able to accept Schedule 1 sex offenders, people with a history of violence or arsonists.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Referrals accepted via the Halton Gateway Scheme.
Referral procedure
Phone, call in Mon-Fri 9am-10pm or write. Application form completed by applicant and referral agency before interview. Need proof of ID eg benefits document.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1-3 months
- Maximum stay: 1 year
Support and accommodation
Support offered
12 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Staff on site Mon-Fri 8am-10pm. Night support workers Mon-Sun 8pm-6am. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Advice and support on housing, training, education, employment, independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, personal health/hygiene. The service has a meaningful timetable of activities designed to increase residents skills and develop confidence.

£13.22 pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 2 rooms have visual alarms and are accessible to people using wheelchairs. Chair lift to first floor.
- Other facilities: Lounge, library, IT suite, training room for in house courses, catering kitchen, gym, garden.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Compulsory training, living skills, and action planning. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking in own room and garden only. Licence agreement.
Visitors
No under 18’s. Guests allowed on-site until 10pm. No overnight guests.

Runcorn train station - 45 mins walk. Bus to Town Centre and Widnes from outside hostel.
Volunteering
Volunteering opportunities with induction and training available. Assisting support workers under supervision and some admin work also available.
Donations
Accept food and money donations for residents' use and money donations to further our programme work with residents (eg trips, leisure, equipment etc).
