Who do we help?

Single homeless people with support needs. No local connection required.

Who we cannot help

Arsonists, people with a long history of violence or active substance misuse.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

People who are under 25 need to apply via Plymouth's Under 25 referral hub. People 25 or over can self refer of have an agency refer them. Phone, call in Mon-Fri 10am-4pm or write for application form. Return form with letters of support from existing support workers for possible interview.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 28 days
  • Maximum stay: 12 months

Support and accommodation

Support offered

9 full time and 5 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Compulsory keywork system (6-10 residents per keyworker) with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes reviewed quarterly. Staff offer support around life skills including budgeting and confidence building, accessing help for mental health and substance misuse issues, and pursuing employment, education or training opportunities.

Rules and policies

House rules and tenure

No alcohol allowed in communal areas. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement in clusters. Assured shorthold tenancy in flats.

Visitors

Must leave by midnight. Overnight guests allowed with staff permission.
