Rough sleepers and single homeless people with support needs, including ex-offenders and people with mental health, drug or alcohol problems. local connection to Newcastle is required.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Phone any time or call in at St Silas Church Building Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Beds allocated on first come, first served basis. Need proof of ID and age eg benefit book, previous rent book. Application form completed at interview.

Support and accommodation
At least 2 full time staff on-site, 24 hour waking cover. key worker system with meetings as required. Staff provide help with benefit claims, advocacy, informal counselling and referrals to other services. Access to education and employment training day services provided by Under the Bridge.

No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own room only. Licence agreement.
Byker Metro station - 5 minutes walk. Buses 12, 21, 22, 39, 40, 62, 63, 302.
