Two Saints - West Berkshire Homelessness Services
Housing Options Service
Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Singe people and couples who are or are at risk of rough sleeping, and have support needs. We will support people to access the accommodation with their dogs, but there is a limit on the number of dogs. We work with people with a range of support needs.
Who we cannot help
Those with a conviction for arson within the last 5 years and those considered high risk by MAPPA without a risk assessment and advance permission of insurers where necessary.
- Minimum age accepted: 18
- Maximum age accepted: None
How to get a referral
All vacancies are gate-kept by West Berkshire Council. Clients must present at the housing options service to be assessed for eligibility, and can be supported by an agency , friend or family.
If homeless, individuals must present at the Housing Options office at West House, West Street, Newbury. West Berkshire Council will assess whether an individual is eligible for an emergency bed space, and whether they have a duty to provide a hostel placement. Any agencies wishing to refer their client to the hostel must also go through West Berkshire Council.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 2 years
