Who do we help?
Vulnerable adults in housing need, including people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities, and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Must have a local connection to the Birmingham area.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions within the target group.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency via Birmingham Gateway.
Call the Gateway: 0121 303 7410. In emergencies, outside of office hours, you can contact the Homeless Service on 0121 303 2296.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
9 full time staff provide visiting support Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system (8-10 residents per worker), meetings at least weekly. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every six months. Provide support services in liaison with other statutory agencies. Staff work closely with community based resources, such as local colleges, day centres and adult education providers.

£10pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 4 rooms are fully accessible to wheelchair users. The project has electric front doors, wide doorways and passages, grab rails and call system.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Written house rules. No alcohol allowed in communal areas. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Maximum 3 at a time per resident between 8am-8pm. 1 overnight guest per resident twice weekly.
