Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, including pregnant women. Must have a local connection to Blackburn with Darwen.
Who we cannot help
Schedule 1 sex offenders. Those with convictions for arson or extreme violence. People with severe psychiatric illness.

How to get a referral
Only accept referrals from Blackburn with Darwen BC Housing Needs Team.
Call in to the Town Hall Mon-Fri 10am-12 noon, 2pm-4pm or phone Mon-Fri 10am-4pm. Application form and interview.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1-3 Months
- Maximum stay: 6 months - 1 Year
Support and accommodation
24 hour waking cover. Keywork system with regular meetings. Staff provide support with gaining and improving independent living skills, budgeting, accessing employment and education, accessing support from specialist services. Promotion of social activities.
