Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single people aged 18-30 in housing need, especially those moving out of home for the first time and those newly arrived in the area for training, study or work. Must have local connection to Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth or Lichfield.
Who we cannot help
People in need of greater support than that offered, eg those with mental health, alcohol or drug problems and those on probation orders.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for an application form. Interview. Require proof of ID, a reference and one week's rent as a deposit. Limited number of housing benefit claimants accepted at any one time.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 weeks
- Maximum stay: 3 years
Support and accommodation
1 part time member of staff and 6 volunteers, sleep-in cover. Housing manager meets with unemployed residents to identify needs and assess progress.

£9-£11pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Residents sign a licence agreement. Alcohol allowed in own rooms and lounge only.
Until 11pm Mon-Thurs, 12 midnight Fri-Sun. Occasional overnight guests with staff permission.
Buses 102, 104 -10 minutes walk. Train station - 15 minutes walk.
