Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people with additional support needs, including substance use, mental health, physical health, life skills and employment and training. Priority to those with a connection to Westminster. Can accept 1 person with a dog at 2 projects. No maximum age at project for men over 50.

Who we cannot help

People with a recent history of violence or harassment. Clients who present a risk that the project is not equipped to manage.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals accepted from agencies in the Westminster Rough Sleepers Pathway.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or write. Application form completed by applicant and referring agency. Interview. Require proof of ID, eg passport, benefit documents.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 1 month
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

Staff based on site in three projects. Staff work on a 7 day rota and visit all projects regularly, emergency on-call. Keywork system with monthly meetings or more depending on need. Joint action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Action plans include goals around employment and training, substance use, resettlement and independent living skills. Access to St Mungo's work and learning projects.

£8.80-£9.40pw required from residents receiving benefits.

House rules and tenure

No alcohol or smoking in communal areas. Assured shorthold tenancy.

9am-11pm. Overnight guests with staff permission.
