Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people aged 18-65 with additional support needs, including those around social isolation and life skills. Must have a connection to LB Haringey.

Who we cannot help

No automatic exclusions. Applications assessed on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals via LB Haringey Vulnerable Adults Team.

Referral procedure

LB Haringey Vulnerable Adults Team are notified of vacancies and undertake initial assessment. Application form. Interview. Risk assessment. Try to fill vacancies within 24 hours.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 6 months
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

10 staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (3-5 residents per key worker) with fortnightly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes are developed jointly by resident, key worker and specialist staff, reviewed monthly. Provide support with medical issues, benefits, social and life skills. Focus of the scheme is to prepare residents for independent living. Literacy and computing training.

£10.32pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

House rules and tenure

No alcohol or smoking allowed in communal areas. Monthly residents' meeting. Licence agreement.

Visitors

Between 8am-10pm. Can have overnight guests up to three times a week with staff permission.
