Who do we help?
Young single men aged 16-25 with support needs who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Schedule 1 sex offenders. Arsonists may be accepted if cleared by insurance company.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency via St Basils Link.
Phone St Basils Link Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Youthline (0300 30 30 099, 24 hours daily) which is a partnership between St Basils and 4 other organisations. Interview, and needs and risk assessment at The Link. Placed on pre-registered list if suitable. When vacancy arises The Link carry out up to date background checks.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 month
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
1 member of staff based at Shaftesbury House Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system, with monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff provide advice and support around life skills, budgeting, accessing benefits, cooking, hygiene and sexual health. Access to additional surgeries.

£14.56pw (Runcorn), £12.84pw (Sandford) required from residents in receipt of benefit.
