Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single people aged 16-25 with support needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Over 21 preferably have a local connection.
Who we cannot help
Schedule 1 sex offenders are assessed on an individual basis. Arsonists may be accepted if cleared by insurance company.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency via Youthline.
Phone Youthline (0300 303 0099, 24 hours daily) which is a partnership between St Basils and 4 other organisations. Interview, needs and risk assessment. Placed on pre-registered list if suitable. When vacancy arises The Link carry out up to date background checks before placement.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3-6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
7 full time staff, sleep-in cover. Keywork system (12 residents per worker), monthly meetings. Support package via Outcomes Star with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff provide advice and support around life skills, budgeting, accessing benefits, cooking, hygiene, sexual health and addressing substance misuse issues. Surgeries around family mediation, employment, education and training.

House rules and tenure
Alcohol allowed in own rooms only. Protected licence.
Visitors between 5pm-10pm. Can have an overnight guest with 24 hours notice.
