Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-25 with a local connection to Medway Council district.
Who we cannot help
Sex offenders, arsonists and people with high mental health support needs.
- Minimum age accepted: 16
- Maximum age accepted: 25
How to get a referral
Only accept referrals from Medway Council Gateway.
Application form completed by applicant and referral agency prior to interview. Require proof of ID, eg NI card, birth certificate, driving licence.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1-2 weeks
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
2 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed weekly. Compulsory support sessions and training courses. Staff offer support with education, training and employment, and help with basic life skills (cooking, healthy living, budgeting, benefits claims, form filling).

£9pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own room only. Licence agreement.
Between 3pm-11pm weekdays, 10am-midnight weekends. Overnight guests with staff permission.
