Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

People with mental health problems. Must have a local connection to the area and be supported by CMHT.

Who we cannot help

No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Referrals accepted through CAPITA system only.

Referral procedure

Application form completed by applicant and referral agency prior to interview. Require proof of ID, CPA documentation, supporting letters and details of previous medical history.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 1 year
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

1 full time member of staff visits residents at least weekly, emergency on-call system. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 months. Staff provide housing related support, and help with finances and benefits. Staff liaise with care coordinators with regard to clinical care plans.

Residents are responsible for paying their own utility bills.
