Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-21. Referrals from outside the borough would normally have to show a local connection unless they are fleeing violence or have another valid reason why they may not remain in their own borough.
Who we cannot help
All referrals considered, but require further information if applicant presents a risk.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. All applicants must be assessed by the Housing Advice Centre at the Millennium Centre. Out of hours referrals must come through Social Services.
Phone hostel 24 hours daily or call in at Housing Advice Centre, Wesley House, Corporation Street, St Helens Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. All applicants must be assessed by Housing Advice Centre. Need proof of benefits entitlement/income.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 12 weeks
Support and accommodation
5 full time staff and relief workers, 24 hour sleep-in cover. Compulsory keyworker system, with weekly meetings. Staff provide help with budgeting, paying bills, cooking, shopping, employment, training and developing independent living skills.

£27.24pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

House rules and tenure
Licence agreement. Must attend keywork meetings. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking in own room only.
In communal areas only, Mon-Thurs 2-4pm, 7-9pm, Fri-Sun 2-4pm, 7-10pm. No overnight guests.
