Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with low-medium support needs and statutory homeless families nominated by the local authority. Must have a local connection to Bristol.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Only accept referrals via Bristol City Council?s Housing Support Register.
Drop in to a Bristol City Council customer service point or phone Self Help for further information. Application form. Interview. Require proof of ID. Risk assessment.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
3.5 full time equivalent staff available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Keywork system (20-25 residents per keyworker), regular meetings as required. Support plans with agreed outcomes. Staff provide advice about welfare benefits, housing, move-on options, referral to health agencies. Practical help with completing forms.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Assured shorthold tenancy or licence agreement, depending on type or accommodation.
No restrictions. In shared housing visitors can stay overnight for 2 nights per week.
