Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with support needs, including people with alcohol, drugs and mental health problems. Need to sign support agreement. Priority to applicants with a local connection.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

- Maximum age accepted: 25
How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. All referrals via Southend Access Point.
Phone Southend Access Point Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Application form filled in prior to interview. Signpost applicant to other services if they are unsuccessful.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
Stanier House - 5 full time staff, available daily 8am-11pm, sleep-in cover. Mallard Court - 1 member of staff based at Stanier House provides visiting support, available Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, emergency on-call system. Centurion House - staffed until 8pm 6 days a week. Keyworker system with weekly-monthly meetings. Provide support around independent living skills, including budgeting and cooking, and accessing education and employment.

House rules and tenure
Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement and assured shorthold tenancy.
Between 8am-11pm daily. Overnight guests with staff permission.
Southend East station - 7 minutes walk, Victoria train station - 10 minutes walk.
