Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single homeless men aged 16-30. Must have a local connection to the area. and young rough sleepers

Who we cannot help

"Anyone who requires acute care and support for a severe medical or mental health condition, sex offenders and arsonists. Any person without Leave to Remain. Current drug users and alcoholics may be considered under special circumstances."

Referral procedure

If there is a vacancy, the person is asked to come to the project and be interviewed. If accepted, usually the person will come into the project at the end of the interview.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

6 full time and 2 part time staff, waking cover from 9am-12 midnight. Emergency cover midnight-8am. 24 hour on-call system. Keywork system, with fortnightly meetings and 3 monthly reviews. Support covers health, housing, benefit issues, language, family issues. Referral to specialists as necessary. A weekly Job Club is run each Wednesday in partnership with Manchester Adult Education Services; clients attend and are helped with their CVs, information on jobs, and how to apply, Universal Job Match. Accredited 8 weeks Sports Leadership course available.

£12.04pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Residents must carry out any agreed obligations in their action plan. No alcohol or smoking allowed on premises. Licence agreement.
