Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Men with primarily a history of offending, secondary mental health problems, alcohol misuse and/or homelessness. Can accept applicants from Greater Manchester referred by Probation. Prioritise those with a Manchester connection and rough sleepers.
Who we cannot help
Injecting drug users, but may consider those with a history of recreational drug use. Those with current alcohol misuse issues. Anyone who has used Class A drugs in the last 6 months.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from the National Probation Service, Prison Link, City Centre Project, HMP Manchester and Forest Bank Prison.
Phone or call in daily 24 hours or write. Application form. Risk assessment. Psychiatric reports where applicable. Require proof of ID and NI number at assessment.

Support and accommodation
9 full time and 1 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (8-9 residents per worker), weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Staff offer advice, help with living skills, links to training and employment, and links to support agencies.

Must participate in support offered. House rules. No alcohol on premises. Smoking in designated outside area only. Licence agreement.
9am-9.30pm, in residents rooms only. No overnight guests.
