Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless women aged 16-25. Local connection is required except in cases of domestic violence.
Who we cannot help
Women with convictions for arson or with current serious drug or alcohol problems.

How to get a referral
The young People’s pathway Centrepoint on Oldham St Manchester is our only referral agency.
Young person to present at Centrepoint.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 month
- Maximum stay: 6 months
Support and accommodation
5 support staff, 2 night security, 24 hour cover. Support worker system, with fortnightly meetings. There is an expectation that all customers will engage in support and be working towards employment and/or attending training, education or doing voluntary work.

- Furnishings: Bedrooms fully furnished, with washbasins and fridge freezers.

- Disabled facilities: All referrals are processed on their own merit, we aim to cater for customers with a disability however access to the building is limited as on different levels. We have a lovely colourful, tranquil back garden.
- Other facilities: Large lounge/ diner, computers with WIFI internet access, laundry room. All bathrooms and kitchen replaced 2018. The project was fully decorated in 2018.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Licence agreement and house rules in place; No violence or aggression towards anyone and drugs or alcohol on site. All customers are required to engage in support provided which is agreed via the support planning process.
Women only, between 4pm-9pm. No overnight guests. No guests under the age of 16.
The project is ideally situated close to the thriving student areas and as a result it’s transport links are very good by being regular and good value. We are 2 minutes work away from Wilmslow Rd and all of it’s buses into the City Centre.
Volunteers offer a range of services to our customers dependant on the volunteer’s interests and skill base ie. Cook and taste groups, arts and crafts, creative writing, pamper sessions etc. Contact Nichola.firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07794072355
