Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single people aged 16-25 who are homeless or in housing need, including ex-offenders and those with alcohol/drugs or mental health problems. No local connection required. Must be prepared to removing barriers preventing them moving on into training and/or employment.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists. People with a drug/alcohol dependency who have no support package from external agency. Those with rent arrears from previous stay at Foyer. Those who present risk to residents.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
All referrals via Plymouth Young Persons Supported Accommodation Hub.
Referral procedure
Application form completed by applicant and referral agency before support needs assessment. Need proof of identity, eg birth certificate, passport, driving licence, bank card/statement.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 9 months
Support and accommodation
Support offered
11 full time staff, on site Mon, Thurs & Fri 9am-10pm, Tues & Wed 9am-6pm. emergency out of hours staffing. Keywork system (10 residents per key worker), weekly then weekly-monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. key worker and resident agree personal development plan around living skills, health and other information needs.

£11.53pw required from residents receiving of housing benefit.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must attend personal development plan meetings. Alcohol allowed 8pm-12 midnight in communal courtyard. Smoking in own room only. Licence agreement.
Visitors
7am-12 midnight. Maximum 2 visitors at a time per resident, overnight guests 3 times a week.
