How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from the Probation Service and Kent Council on Addiction (KCA).
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, forms available online at www.porchlight.org.uk/make-a-referral/. Interview. Require proof of ID and relevant background information such as psychiatric reports and housing history.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 1 year
Support and accommodation
1 member of staff available Mon, Weds & Thurs, emergency on call system. Keywork system with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes reviewed monthly or as required. Staff offer general counselling and support, advocacy, help with independent living skills and liaising with specialist welfare agencies.

£7.42pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must meet keyworker on an agreed basis. No alcohol in communal areas. Smoking in own room only. Licence agreement.
Between 8am-12 midnight. Allowed in resident's room only. No overnight guests.
Ramsgate train station - 15 minutes walk. Buses (Stagecoach) 8, 9, "Thanet Loop".
