Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people with services across Kent and Medway. Local authorities: Medway, Thanet, Shepway, Swale, Maidstone, Tonbridge & Malling, Gravesham. Some specialist ex-offender services. No animals allowed. Local connection not always required depending on service. All offences considered - no exclusions apply.

Who we cannot help

No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

All referrals must come though the Thanet District Council RISE Team.

Referral procedure

Phone 01843 577000, complete referral form. Wherever possible interview arranged for same day. Prospective resident completes application form at interview.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

4 full time staff available during the day, with on-call system. 2 night security staff provide waking cover. Keywork system with compulsory weekly meetings. Staff offer support on benefits, health and independent living.

£9.41pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies

House rules and tenure

No alcohol allowed. Smoking in own room and garden only. Residents are required to follow all house rules. Licence agreement.

Visitors

2 visitors per resident, 4pm-10.45pm daily. No overnight guests.
