Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-25 in housing need with a local connection to Stroud District. Applicants must be willing to pursue employment, education or training.
Who we cannot help
Do not normally consider people who have a history of arson, violence or sex offences or users of Class A drugs.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from Stroud District Council via Youth Housing Allocations meetings.
Applicants for some accommodation have to be on Stroud District Council's housing register. Write, phone or call in Mon-Fri 10am-6pm. Application form. Interview. Risk assessment. Require proof of ID and references.
Length of stay

- Maximum stay: 2 Years
Support and accommodation
2 full time and 2 part time staff, emergency on-call system. Compulsory keywork system (5 residents per key worker) with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed at least every six months. Staff offer support around life skills, budgeting, cooking, employment, education, training and personal development.

Stroud train and bus stations - 5 minutes walk.
Established volunteer scheme, 8-10 currently, help with education support, organising activities, admin including health & safety. Contact project for further information.
