Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-24 with a local connection to Oldham.
Who we cannot help
All applicants undergo police checks.
- Minimum age accepted: 16
- Maximum age accepted: 24
How to get a referral
Accept referrals from local agencies that work with vulnerable young people and have received training about Nightstops. Agencies interested in being added to the list should contact the project.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Referral form completed by agency. Risk and needs assessment. Require references and relevant background information about housing, health and criminal history.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 14 nights
Support and accommodation
1 member of staff, available 10 hours per week. Provide support and basic signposting. Young person is expected to return to referring agency for ongoing support.
Rooms and charges
There is no charge for the accommodation.

Transport is usually provided to the host's home.
