Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Homeless families. Can accept couples and single homeless people on a short term emergency basis. Must have a local connection to Bradford and be assessed as homeless and in priority need by Horton Housing (acting for Bradford MDC).
Who we cannot help
Violent/Schedule 1 offenders or arsonists. Drug users who are not on a recognised reduction programme. People who have previously physically assaulted members of staff or other residents. This will be decided at referral.

How to get a referral
Anyone can make a referral. Only accept referrals from Housing Options Team in office hours. Accept self-referrals and referrals from any agency outside office hours. Most out of hours referrals are from the Police for people with domestic violence problems.
Named agency referrals only Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, self or agency referrals at other times on 01274 435999. Complete referral form by phone. Interview at Housing Options Team during office hours. Require proof of ID and income for Housing Benefit.

Support and accommodation
18 staff covering 24hr support. Key working system (9 residents per full time keyworker), minimum of weekly meetings. Staff offer support with housing-related issues.
Rooms and charges
£19 -£34 pw required from residents in receipt of benefits. Other clients who work may have a shortfall on the housing benefit so would be expected to pay more.

House rules and tenure
No alcohol or drugs allowed on the premises. Licence agreement.
No visitors policy in place.
Bradford Interchange and Shipley stations – every 30 mins. Buses 610, 611, 612, 641, 642, 670, 845, 846.
