Who do we help?
People with mental health support needs. Priority given to those registered with Broxbourne or East Herts Council who are homeless or in need of additional support. Can accept couples. May accept people with dogs at manager's discretion.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Only accept referrals from Broxbourne Borough Council and East Hertfordshire District Council. All applications must be approved by Broxbourne Council.
Interview. Applicant and agency complete application form. Assessment of risk and support needs. Require proof of ID and background information on medical history. Panel decision.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
1 full time member of staff on-site plus visiting support from part-time staff Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and 8pm-8am, sleep-in cover; and Sat-Sun 8am-12 noon and 8pm-8am, emergency on-call system. Keywork system (1-2 residents per key worker), with weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Support focuses on independent living skills, and personal growth and development.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. No alcohol or Illegal drugs allowed on premises. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the property. Assured short hold tenancy (flats), licence agreement (bedsits).
Must leave by 11pm. Overnight guests with staff permission.
Waltham Cross train station - 10 minutes walk.
