Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single people aged 16-25 with low support needs, who are homeless in London. Must have a local connection.
Who we cannot help
People who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and those showing violent behaviour at the time of referral. Those with a history of arson. People with high support needs.

How to get a referral
Referrals from anyone working with young people in any London borough, including colleges and other non-homelessness agencies.
Phone 10am-4pm Mon?Fri. The young person must be available at the time of the referral. An initial phone call is required to ensure availability and discuss suitability then a referral form including a risk assessment will need to be completed.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 6 weeks
Support and accommodation
Volunteers work on a rota basis providing 1 night up to 6 weeks' accommodation in their home. Volunteers offer no formal support, keyworking or action planning. Paid staff process referrals and are available ?on-call? throughout all placements.
Rooms and charges
Emergency access is free however housing benefits should cover the rent for the longer term accommodation.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must agree to return to agency next day to discuss long term options. House rules depend on volunteer host. No formal agreement.
Not usually allowed. No overnight guests allowed.
Referral agencies encouraged to provide transport to the host's home.
