How to get a referral
A referral for this supported housing scheme can be made on your behalf through a referring agency such as SIFA Fireside. (0121 766 1700). You can also be referred through agencies working with you such as Probation, Social Services and Substance Misuse Support Agencies etc.
Interview and assessment may be face to face, details may be taken by phone or referral form may be forwarded from Birmingham Gateway supported housing access point. Beds allocated on first come first served basis.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3-6 Months
- Maximum stay: 3-6 Months
Support and accommodation
8 full time staff, waking night cover. Keywork system (up to 11 residents per worker), with monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 3 months. Staff provide support around living skills and ensure that residents have access to appropriate support agencies.
