Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Homeless or vulnerably housed people with low support needs. Applicants must be willing to engage regularly with support staff. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
People with a history of arson or sex offences. Those with high support needs which cannot be met by the project.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from any agency.
Call in, phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or write for referral form. When vacancy, interview. Risk assessment. Require proof of ID, housing and offending history, health and other relevant information.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
1 full time member of staff based at Midland Heart Foyer visits up to three times per week, emergency on-call system. Keywork system (7 residents per worker), meetings as frequently as required. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every six months. Provide assistance with social skills, budgeting, benefits, healthcare, training and employment.

Residents pay own electric and water bills.

Alcohol and smoking allowed in own rooms only. Assured shorthold tenancy.
