Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with support needs. People with a history of rough sleeping. Priority given to applicants with a confirmed Local Connection and/or support from neighbouring authorities. This is a criteria and are open to other applicants.
Who we cannot help
People with a history of arson or serious violence. Those with current or active substance misuse problems.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from other Homeless Services. Most referrals come from Shelter, Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole and Christchurch Borough Council and local churches and neighbouring local authorities.
Phone or call in daily 24 hours (preferably during office hours). Admission Assessment and Risk Assessment. Proof of ID required.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
4 full time staff, 24 hour sleep-in cover. Outcomes Star and person centred approach to support planning. Weekly Support Sessions, individual Support Plans with agreed outcomes, monthly reviews. Provide support around life skills, including cooking, budgeting and basic literacy and numeracy, IT, training and employment.
Rooms and charges
£34.50pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Licence agreement. No substance use (alcohol, drugs or replica drugs) allowed on the premises. Residents are not to return under the influence of illicit drugs, replica drugs or alcohol. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
Between 10am-10.30pm (but not during meal times) in communal areas only. No overnight guests.
Bournemouth or Pokesdown train stations - 5 minutes walk.
Currently have 3 volunteers. Bespoke voluntary opportunities can be created to with a view to benefit daily interaction and the house. Call 01202 393178 for details.
