Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless men who have slept rough, including those with low level support needs around alcohol, drugs and/or mental health. 50% of beds reserved for LB Southwark, however residents do not require a local connection.

Who we cannot help

Those with a history of arson or violence. Those with high support needs that can not be met by the project. Will accept those with substance abuse issues providing they are prepared to address them.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Westminster Outreach Services Probation Service and Westminster Housing Options.

Referral procedure

All referrals must be completed on the Westminster BBS referral form and emailed - essential that referrals can provide proof of ID and entitlement to benefits.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 1 month
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

18 staff, 24 hour waking cover. Compulsory keywork system with regular meetings as required. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 2-3 months. Staff provide advice and support around independent living skills. Employment Resource Centre and advisors from Salvation Army Employment Plus provide support with education, training and employment.

£15-£31pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies

House rules and tenure

No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own room and garden. Compulsory keywork sessions. Licence agreement.


Between 12 noon-9.30pm. Maximum 2 visitors per resident. Maximum visit 3 hours. No overnight guests.
