Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people, including people with alcohol or drug problems. Must be able to claim Housing Benefit or pay for accommodation. No need for local connection, can stay and will be referred at a later point to the Bedfordshire Council.
Who we cannot help
Anyone who is currently barred from the nightshelter and anyone who would pose a high risk to clients and/or staff.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Referral procedure
Applicants must call in at 7.15pm to book in. Spaces are available on a first come first served basis, with the exception of someone who has tried for a bed the night before who would get priority above anyone new. Last admission 4am.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 10 weeks
Support and accommodation
Support offered
12 support workers provide overnight waking cover, practical support and a listening ear. Provide meals and basic toiletries, and have a clothing store and laundry service. organise activities and courses eg football, golf and preparing for tenancy course.

No charges for residents receiving benefits, otherwise £15 per night.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No alcohol, weapons, drugs/drugs paraphernalia or solvents allowed on the premises. Smoking in garden only. Signed written service agreements including house rules. Medication to be handed in on entry, stored securely in office.
