Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with drug or alcohol related problems with low support needs who are committed to becoming drug free and sober. Priority to those with a local connection.
Who we cannot help
Those with a history of arson or severe violence. People continuing to use drugs or alcohol.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Can accept referrals direct from prison.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Interview considers applicant's commitment and ability to participate in the programme. If no vacancies, placed on waiting list. Will help with claiming benefits, and getting ID and funding.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 month
- Maximum stay: 5 months
Support and accommodation
8 staff and volunteers. 1st stage - 24 hour cover. 2nd stage - Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system with weekly meetings. 1st stage focuses on stabilising, including counselling, home detox by arrangement with GP, practical and emotional support, advice and advocacy. 2nd stage is a 12 week rehab therapy programme based on the 12-Step programme for which funding is required.

£32.24pw required from residents receiving benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 7 rooms are accessible to wheelchair users. Ground floor hall, dining room and offices also accessible. Adapted toilet and shower room.

House rules and tenure
Must actively seek recovery and participate in programme. No drugs/alcohol on or off premises. Smoking in own room/designated area. Licence agreement.
As long as programmes are not interrupted. No overnight guests.
